About us

Tiverton Town's youth scheme began in the summer of 2004 with the introduction of the Under 18's age group. The youth section has now grown in to a full youth development scheme with the intention to provide football training for young players in the town of Tiverton and the surrounding areas. The club aims to establish itself as the place for young people to get the best quality football training in the area.

LadysmeadWe will provide safe, fun training which for certain players will also lead to playing competitive games on behalf of the club. We will endeavour to enhance our links with professional sides in order to play and compete against teams of the highest levels.

All our coaching staff are FA qualified and police checked, with our players being insured through the football Association.

We will endeavour to invest in the scheme to provide the best training, coaching and facilities that the town can offer. We will always make financial decisions based on the best interests of the players and the clubs progression.

Our first and foremost goal is to provide players of a high enough standard to break in to the Tiverton Town Under 18` Youth Team. The next hurdle would be for the player to go on and play for the Tiverton Town senior side. However we also understand that certain players will attract the interests of other and sometimes bigger clubs. In both these instances the development scheme would have worked. We also recognise that not all players will go on to play football for a living. We will encourage all our players to attend coaching, refereeing and any other sporting courses which will allow them to be involved in the game. This includes the recently announced Tiverton Town FC Academy which is being run in conjunction with our friends at the East Devon College in Tiverton.
