Just come down and join in the fun try our training sessions out for free for a few weeks and see if you enjoy it.
Junior Section 11 a side - Under 11's to Under 16's
Our Junior section hold open trials in closed season for players of all ability although currently we only cater for boys teams. Successful trialists will train and represent Tiverton Town in local leagues and friendlies against other professional clubs.
Training is also offered to players who do not play for Tiverton Town, but wish to top up their skill levels and push for a playing place in the future. Again we only allow our coaches a certain number of players so places are limited.
Youth Section 11 a side - Under 18's
Our Youth section hold open trials in closed season for players in the local area. The under 18`s are mainly fed each year by our Under 16`s however other trialists are welcome. Successful trialists will train and represent Tiverton Town in local leagues and friendlies against other professional clubs.
Goalkeepers Under 7 to Under 16
In addition to normal team training, Tiverton Town provide all our goalkeepers dedicated goalkeeping coaching. We recognise that Goalkeepers need a different type of training to outfield players. All our keepers train together for at least one hour a week away from their team.
Academy Section 11 a side - Under 18's
Please see academy page for details
Training the coaches of the future - Under 12's to Under 16's
Each season Colin Nation invites Tivvy players (U12's to U18's) to apply for an in house coaching course. This involves these older players getting involved and training with the youngest members of the club. This enables these players to experience the challenges of coaching and hopefully get them in to a position to take the FA Level 1 coaching certificate when old enough. In most cases the fee for this certificate would be paid for by the club.
Other Details
All players signed for the club are expected to train every week. Included in their signing on fee is a full training kit including tracksuit, shirt, shorts and socks which is to be worn to every session. We expect players to turn up on time and ready to train with a good positive attitude. Appropriate footwear, shin pads and a non fizzy drink should be brought to every session. Players should not wear any jewellery or chew chewing gum.
