Vacancies

All positions within the youth section of the club are voluntary, however the rewards of working with young people are sometimes immeasurable. All  adults working within the club will have to be prepared to have a CRB check (organised and paid for by the club) and attend any relevant courses to assist them in their role.

Under 8s Team coaches for season 2010 - 11 and onwards

Our youngest age group will start their journey in to organised football matches at the start of next season. We already have a number of players at this age group training with the club and preparing themselves for the season ahead. We also have a manager in place for this age group. You would need to be able to attend the current training now to eventually take over the squad going forward.

Training

Winter - Friday Evenings 5.30 to 6.30pm  Summer - Wednesday Evenings 5.30 to 6.30pm

Matches

Saturday Mornings East Devon & Exeter Areas every 2 to 3 weeks

Requirements

Be able to commit to attending all training and match commitments, have a CRB check (organised and paid for by the club), Have a minimum of a FA Level 1 coaching certificate or be prepared to achieve this (paid for by the club).

 

Under 9s Team Manager for season 2010 - 11 and onwards

We already have a number of players at this age group training with the club and preparing themselves for the season ahead. We also have two coaches in place for this age group. You would need to be able to attend the current training now to eventually take over the squad going forward.

Under 18s Match Day PA Announcer

This is a position for a confident speaker who can be available for home matches at Ladysmead. In the main this involves around Ten Thursday evenings throughout the season from 7pm to 10pm.

You will need to liaise with the playing teams secretaries before the game starts to obtain a team sheet. You will have use of the clubs PA system and music which is played before the game and at half time. You will announce the teams before the game starts and announce the goals as they are scored.

 

Club Social Secretary

This is a position that would probably suit a parent who has children already involved with the club. You would need to attend committee meetings which are usually held on a Wednesday evening every 4 to 6 weeks.

You would be involved with organising all the non football events through out the year including the signing on day and of course our end of year presentation evening. You will also be asked to suggest and organise any other social events that would benefit the young people involved with our club.

 

Club Football Secretary

This is a position that requires good organisation skills and spare time especially during closed season. You will be involved with collating and organising the signing on process and also the ordering of player kit and team equipment. You would be responsibly for ensuring all players are registered to the relevant leagues and FA registration scheme where applicable.
